Here's what's new... Monday, May 13th, 2013
For the last few years I've been working on some different cross breeds. They just now have their second year plumage and this week we harvested a few. The most interesting was the Lady Amherst / Reeves cross. The feathers are beautiful and you can see them on my new page; Lady Amherst / Reeves cross.
We also pulled this years crop of AmGold tails. I'll be working on listing them and finishing up that page; Amgolds. A few were especially perfect so I'll be busy skining this week.
I also received this years crop of Rhode Island Red from Whiting Farms. Both roosters and hens. They are some of the largest capes and the colors are beautiful. Nothing has a better quill for tying quill bodies. You can see these on my page; Rhode Island Red.

These cree hackle packs are available in hook sizes 10 to 22. Customize your selection by choosing up to 3 sizes!

Streamer patterns are not only fun to tie but remain some of the most deadly flies in your fly box.

Grizzly and brown are the colors most called for in dry fly patterns, followed by dun, then black, and cream. And now you can get them in this set of 1/2 capes!

I just got in a few of these beautifully marked dun grizzly rooster saddles. Great for tying 12's and 14's as well as buggers. The feathers are 7" - 9" long on average.

These are some beautiful capes! Tying from size 10 to 22, every feather is usable. The medium barred makes for an ideal cree sub.
Tying leech flies and having a hard time finding wide webby long feathers? Well the feathers on these saddles are perfect! Measuring up to 1/2 inch wide at the base and tapering to a point, they are on average 9" - 11" long. Looking for olive or black, I have a few of those too.
Here's something you just won't find anywhere else. This is a Hebert/Miner rooster, selected and banded by Dr. Tom Whiting. It is a beautifully marked grizzly variant, and comes with a signed certificate by Dr. Whiting, truely a collecter piece!
