Brahma Soft Hackle

The feathers on the saddle of a brahma hen have a distinct mottled pattern that closely resembes that of a partridge. If you're tying nymph or wet fly patterns, be sure and check out the dyed colors.

The capes lack the mottling and as you can see in the picture, are a solid bager pattern. When dyed burnt orange, they closely resemble claws for crayfish patterns.

The hotest item however, is chic-a-bou. The fine marabou-like feathers are perfect for small wooly buggers, emergers, and other soft hackle patterns.
