Gift Shop
People often ask me how I got into fly tying and selling feathers. Many years ago, I was dating a women who was imposible to buy a gift for. She was just getting started in fly fishing, so I thought, hey, I'll buy her a fly tying kit!
I knew absolutly nothing about it. She signed us up for a fly tying class. We quickly realized that the kit I bought was filled with useless junk.
To make a very long story bearable, she hated it, I loved it, I haven't seen or spoken with her in years, but I often wonder if things may have worked out differenty had I bought her jewery, or a candle.....
